In the presentations on the B Vitamins and Choline Report (IOM, 1998a), Steven H. Zeisel of the University of North CarolinaChapel Hill (former member of the Panel on B Vitamins and Choline) addressed research on thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, and choline. Dr. Patrick Stover of Cornell University covered folate, vitamins B12 and B6, and biotin. Both presenters addressed lack of progress and new developments since 19971998, and they suggested future topics for research.
